| The almost circular crescent of the plan was split in two and warped to open the central space out to the sea even more. The interior façade that defienes the square unfolds in a zigzag pattern, while its projecting vertexes protect the entrances. The bow windows of the living rooms seem to tie the brick walls together. The perimeter of the opposite façade is composed of fragments of a circle with the same radius. The windows here are the same. The plan of the ‘tower’ is like a ship’s prow. All the façades are invaded in a disorderly manner by blinds that slide over the windows. The center of the square is a garden with various types an heights of palm trees. The tavern customers are seated on the raised terrace that sorrounds it. At night-time, it is lit by lamps an giant ‘cobblestone’ lights that provide daytime illumination for the underground carparks. |
